Information about the worldly life of Joachim of Chudovsky was practically not preserved. It is known that around 1700 he was a village priest, but Patriarch Adrian was excluded from the parish; then he tonsured monasticism with the name Joachim and lived among the brethren in the Alexander Nevsky Monastery [1] .
On February 15, 1722, at the request of the elected peasants of the Joseph-Volokolamsk Assumption Monastery, Joachim Chudovsky was identified as archimandrite in this monastery. His rigor, Archimandrite Joachim caused great indignation of the monastic brotherhood and a year later was removed from this post [1] .
In 1728, Father Joachim was a sacristan in the Miracle Monastery in Moscow and from this position was re-appointed rector of the Joseph-Volotsky Monastery. At the end of 1738 he was again removed from office [1] .
Joachim of Chudovsky died in 1739 [1] .
