Background and Release
On January 10, 2019, Big Hit Entertainment published a video with Yongjun, thereby revealing the first member of the new boyfriend. [4] Soon, the videos with the other participants were presented, and thus the final composition of the team consisting of five members was determined: Yongjun, Subin, Bomgyu, Taehyun and Hyunin Kaya. On February 7, the agency confirmed TXT's debut date of March 4, and also announced the name of their debut album, Dream Chapter: Star . [6] [7] On February 22, a track list was published. [8] On February 25 and 26, teasers of the video for the single “어느 날 머리 에서 뿔 이 자랐다 (CROWN)” were presented. [9] [10] On March 2, a preview of the entire album was released. [eleven]
Dream Chapter: Star was released on March 4 at 12:00 Korean time on all music platforms.
Promotion
March 4, 2019, on the day the album was released, the TXT debut show was shown on Mnet , where the band presented the single “어느 날 머리 에서 뿔 이 자랐다 (CROWN)”, and also performed “Blue Orangeade” and “별 의 낮잠 (Nap of a star). " [12] On March 5, the debut showcase for the press and fans was held at Yes24 Hall. [13] [14]
On March 7, the group debuted at M! Countdown . [15] The song “Blue Orangeade” became the bi-side. [sixteen]
Commercial Success
The album’s pre-order was officially launched on February 19, 2019, and in just the first three days the number of pre-ordered copies was more than 100 thousand. [17]
