“Redbone” is a single by American rapper Donald Glover, known by the pseudonym Childish Gambino , released November 17, 2016 from the third studio album Awaken, My Love! [2] . Three nominations for the Grammy Award , including Record of the Year at the 60th ceremony , of which he won in the Best Traditional R&B Performance category [3] .

Commercial Success

"Redbone" did not have much commercial success in the United States, where it debuted only from 75th place in the main US hit parade Billboard Hot 100 on a chart dated December 10, 2016 [4] . But later the song unexpectedly re-entered the hit parade and reached 12th place on the date of August 19, 2017 [5] , becoming the highest achievement in the artist’s career at that time and the first track in the top twenty top 20 (the single “ This This was better later Is America "). The song also became Gambino's first charttopper on the Adult R&B soul chart.
