The women's 4–5 km relay race at the 2019 World Ski Championships in Seefeld took place on February 28 .
In the third stage, Charlotte Kalla beat Astrid Jacobsen for about 20 seconds, giving Stina Nilsson an advantage over Theresa Johaug over the last stage. Johaug managed to clear the gap, but at the finish one of the best sprinters in the world Nilsson did not leave the Norwegian a chance.
For the first time in the history of the world championships in skiing, the Swedish team won the women's relay. Earlier on the account of the Swedes there were 5 silver and 6 bronze awards. Calla won the relay medal at the sixth world championship in a row. The Russian team won bronze medals for the second time in the last seven world championships.
