Iliodor was born in 1725. He came from a spiritual rank. He took monasticism in 1756 in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra [1] .
December 5, 1775 Iliodor was promoted to hegumen of the Kozlovsky Holy Trinity Monastery [1] .
On October 12, 1785, Father Iliodor, at his own request, was sent to retirement, with a pension and the right to reside in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra , where he died on February 9, 1789 [1] .
Iliodor loved hermitage and solitary prayer. Once I went on trial for refusing to go from the monastery to Tambov , for the next service. The refusal motivated that during the move and stay in the city in the inns the monk was forced to β lose his monasticism β [1] .
