Kolechkin, Ivan Sergeevich

Kolechkin Ivan Sergeevich was born on March 3, 1976 in the village of Kraskovo, Moscow region. He graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical University geofak (named after V.I. Lenin) in 1998, a senior methodologist at the City Methodical Center of Moscow (direction "Geography") ^[1] , a teacher of geography of a number of Moscow schools. The finalist of the competition “Teacher of the Year in Moscow 2010” ^[2] , the winner of the All-Russian competition “My best lesson”, the winner and laureate of many professional pedagogical competitions ^[3] . The host of the television program "Lessons of Geography" on the TV channels "My Planet" and "Russia-2" ^[4] .

Author of numerous scientific, methodological and scientific-journalistic articles on geography (both in Russian and European editions), popularizer of science ^[5] and teaching methods ^[6] , known in Moscow ^[7] and major regional cities for their master -classes ^[8] , in which it reveals to teachers the possibilities of interdisciplinary, metasubject and convergent approaches in education ^[9] . Under the leadership of Ph.D., Professor I. I. Barinova in 2014, he wrote a thesis for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences on the topic “Methods for the development of metasubject abilities of schoolchildren in geography lessons in grades 9-10”. In 2018–2019 his collections of tasks and exercises in geography are published for grades 5-11, which contain a new principle for the formation of the educational abilities of schoolchildren ^[10] .

Ivan Sergeyevich Kolechkin is the host of the educational telecast series “Lessons of Geography” (two seasons of 10 episodes ^[11] ; 2013 and 2014), which in 2014 were named as “one of the brightest educational television programs” ^{[12] of} Russia television ^[13] .

It is also known as an author-performer: he writes songs to his poems, there are early songs to poems by Alexei Melechenkov, Nikolai Kondratiev. Member of the ensemble "Wind Rose" (1995), "The Unity of Opposites" (1991-1995, 1995-1998), duets with Vyacheslav Nadvoretsky (now the USA), Alexander Talanov. Laureate of the TOPOS-97, Festos-98 and 125 Years of MGPI (MPGU) contests and a number of others. The tapes (with the ensemble) “Stripes” (1995), “Quiet Café” (1996), “Time for Change” (1997) were released. After the collapse of the "Unity of Opposites" came out several of his solo discs. Since 1998, in addition to continuing work on a solo project, he has been writing music and songs for performances and radio fairy tales (Legend of the Two Kingdoms, Legend of the Little Mermaid ^[14] - both were released on CD). He continues to perform solo concerts to the present ^[15] .
