Taranin, Victor Ivanovich

Viktor Ivanovich Taranin (born February 19, 1957 in the village of Otskochnoe, Lipetsk Region.) Is a Russian businessman, statesman and politician. Member of the State Duma of V and VI convocations. In the V convocation of the State Duma - a member of the faction "United Russia" [1] , in the VI convocation - a member of the faction of the Communist Party [2] . Biography

In 1979, he graduated from the Institute of National Economy named after G. V. Plekhanov, in 2003 he underwent retraining at the Moscow Aviation Institute [3] .

From 1979 to 1980 he worked at the Lenin fruit and vegetable office in Moscow as a merchandiser, senior merchandiser. From 1980 to 1981, he served in the Soviet Army in the Missile Forces. After demobilization, in 1981 he worked at the Lenin fruit and vegetable office in Moscow as a senior merchandiser. From 1981 to 1984, he worked in the Moscow City Department of the State Inspectorate for the Quality of Agricultural Products and Raw Materials as a senior inspector. From 1984 to 1987, he worked at the Perovsky Fruit and Vegetable Association as the chief merchandiser, deputy director. From 1987 to 1990, he worked at the Glavmosplodovodoprom in the Department of storage and processing of fruits and vegetables as the head of the department, and later was the deputy head, head of the Department [4] [5] .

Since 1990, he worked in the Closed Joint-Stock Company Krasnaya Presnya as the General Director, since 1998 he worked in the agricultural holding Krasnaya Presnya as the General Director, at the same time headed the Closed Joint-Stock Company Dashkivka [5] . From 2004 to 2008, he was an adviser to Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, in addition, Dashkivka CJSC was on the list of Moscow food suppliers [6] .

In July 2007, he was approved as a participant in the primaries of the United Russia party in the status of the head of ZAO Krasnaya Presnya and ZAO Dashkivka [7] . In December 2007, he was elected to the State Duma of the V convocation on the lists of the United Russia party [8] .

In December 2011, he ran for the State Duma on the lists of the Communist Party, as a result of the distribution of mandates, he did not go to the Duma, received a vacant mandate by a deputy of the State Duma of the sixth convocation by Decree of the CEC of December 15, 2011 [9] .

In March 2013, Taranin prematurely resigned from his parliamentary powers, according to the Communist Party of the Russian Federation "in connection with the difficult situation in the agricultural sector of the country." At the same time, the deputy decided to save the domestic agricultural sector by returning to the leadership of his enterprises. The refusal of the deputy mandate followed the verification of the business activities of the State Duma deputies, as a result of which three deputies were deprived of their mandates. After the resignation, the former deputy again headed his enterprises [10] .
