The Misanthropic Luciferian Order (MLO) is an occult order founded in Sweden in 1995, later renamed the Temple of the Black Light .
The Order issued in 2002 the modern grimoire Liber Azerate, authored by the Master of the Order, brother Nemidal. The book was published in Swedish and Norwegian. According to the author, Azerat is the secret name of 11 anti-cosmic gods. In 1999, after several members of the MLO were arrested, the organization Werewolf Legion, which collaborates with MLO, was also created. The organization, now called the “Temple of the Black Light”, exists not only in Sweden, but also in the Netherlands and Norway.
The Order is associated with the murder committed by Dissection member Jon Nöddveidt and his suicide at the age of 31.
Key Aspects of the Creed
The order adheres to faith in Chaos . They believe that Chaos is an infinite plane of possibilities, which differs from space with three spatial and one temporal dimensions. Also, in their opinion, Chaos is described as timeless, in contrast to linear time. Chaos is not limited to one-dimensional time and is formless, since its space is constantly changing.
It is widely believed in the order that a true Satanist should not be part of modern society, since it is based on deception and chaos cannot be realized in a reality full of lies. Members of the Order share nihilistic and extreme neo-Gnostic views.
According to the creators of the Order, three forces were expelled from Ein Sof , which were supposed to free up space in order for the Black Light to appear in the Outer Darkness. These three forces have become the dark veils of Satan's being. Adherents of the doctrine designate these forces as follows:
- 000 - Tohu - Chaos: Kemetiel (“Crown of the Gods”).
- 00 - Bohu - Void: Belial (“Without God”).
- 0 - An Hour - Darkness: Asiel ("Uncertainty").
These forces, according to members of the Temple - Angry Manifestations Ein, Ein Sof, Ein Sof Aur. The Order also considers these three forces as the Burning Trident raised above Thaumiel (this is the Kiphot Kether in the Kabbalah ). Thus, the three veils are the shadow side of the Kabbalistic tree of life .
The central figure in the teachings of the Order is Lucifer , who illuminates people with the light of darkness. According to Knoxifer, a member of the Order, the Temple of the Black Light studies all the dark esoteric doctrines and practices black magic to increase the powers of the dark gods. [1] .
Order Activities
In the summer of 1997, Algerian and homosexual Joseph Ben Meddur was killed in Gothenburg by members of the organization, Jon Nöddveidt and Iranian Vlad, his accomplice. Police saw this as homophobic homicide. After the arrest, police discovered satanic altars and a human skull in Jon and his accomplice. Also, according to police reports, the cult of the Temple of the Black Light has very few followers [2] .
During the investigation, former members of the Order reported that their occult ceremonies were held with animal sacrifices. Shortly before the murder of Ben Meddura, Vlad spoke out extremistly and proposed the idea of human sacrifice and mass suicide. Vlad and Jon compiled a list of former members of the Order, members of the Dissection group, and the girl of Nöddveidt. During the arrests, the number of active members of the Order was reduced to three - Jon with a girl and Vlad.
In 2004, Jon Nedtvedyt was released, and in 2006 he committed a ritual suicide by shooting himself at home [3] .
Dissection (death metal), vocalized by Nöddveidt, released Reinkaos in 2006, co-written with brother Nemidal and based on the teachings of the Order. Nedweidt himself called his group the department of audio propaganda of Satanism, and himself - the priest of Satan and the initiates of the second stage [4] .
