The Prombank building is a building in the Central District of Novosibirsk , built in 1927 according to the project of A. Shvidkovsky, G.P. Goltz. It was reconstructed in the 1930s, 1950s and later, after which it acquired the monumental character of the Stalinist neoclassicism . The building forms the south side of Lenin Square . An architectural monument of federal significance [1] .

Content
History
The building was built in 1927 according to the design of A. Shvidkovsky and G. P. Goltz under the guidance of engineer S. A. Shestov [1] .
In 1931 he was transferred to the city executive committee [1] . In the late 1930s, two floors were built on [1] .
In 1950, architects V. A. Dobrolyubov and N. S. Kuzmin created a reconstruction project, which was completed in 1954. The renovated building acquired the features of Stalinist neoclassicism.
In 1972, according to the project of architects S. P. Skoblikov and N. S. Kuzmin, another floor was added to the building, which was originally occupied by the Novosibgrazhdanproekt Institute. In 1981, architects G.K. Dergai and A.S. Mikhailov and others made an extension of the sixth floor from Deputatskaya Street [2] .
Description
The main western facade of the industrial bank building is facing Krasny Prospekt , the north - towards Deputatskaya Street [1] .
Sh-shaped building stands on the foundations, which are prefabricated concrete blocks. The internal monolithic frame is made of reinforced concrete. The roof is garret roof with rafters [1] .
Initially, the building had large display windows. The stylistic decision has noticeably changed after reconstruction [1] .
Main facade with a symmetrical composition. The walls of the building are completely rusted [1] .
The plastic pattern of the facades is formed by overlaid pilasters four floors high, which end at the fifth floor level with complex capitals decorated with Soviet symbols [1] .
The eaves of the building are powerful with significant extension [1] .
Along the entire perimeter of the building is a high attic , decorated on the main facade with niches with paneled framing and shoulder blades. The center of the attic along the axis of symmetry of the main facade is decorated with a bas-relief in the form of the coat of arms of the USSR [1] .
Stone-like gray plaster is applied to the walls of the building [1] .
Interior
The layout of the building is corridor. On the walls and ceilings of some rooms remained the original stucco molding [1] .
Molded elements decorated and coffered ceiling in the lobby of the main entrance [1] .
The ceiling in the dining room is decorated in a classic style: along the perimeter of the ceiling there is a cornice with "ionics", the beams are decorated with panels [1] .
The hall walls in front of the large hall are decorated with pilasters, and the doorways are framed by classical style portals [1] .
