On May 25, 1921, Maria Alice married Prince Franz Josef Hohenzollern-Emden , son of William of Hohenzollern and Maria Theresa of Bourbon-Sicily [1] [2] . The year before, Maria Alice's elder sister, Margarita Carola , married her twin brother, Franz Josef, Friedrich .
