Biography
Ivan Kirilov was born in 1765; came from a clergy, Great Russian. Educated at the Tobolsk Theological Seminary , and at the end of the course in it was ordained to the priest of the Russian Church in 1786 [1] .
On March 2, 1803, he was transferred to Perm by the cathedral archpriest [1] .
On February 9, 1813, Ivan Kirilov became a monk with the name Jerome, and on February 10 he was ordained hegumen of the Verkhotursky Nicholas Monastery and was subsequently appointed prefect and teacher of philosophy and then theology at the Perm Theological Seminary; For some time he was its rector [1] .
On August 19, 1818, Jerome Kirilov was appointed archimandrite of the Tomsk Mother of God-Alekseyevsky monastery and in the city of Tomsk was the first person present in the clergy, the caretaker of the Tomsk Theological Parish School and the rector of the Tomsk County and Parish Theological Schools [1] .
Jerome Kirilov died on June 22 (July 4), 1829 [1] .
