Mikhail Abramovich Salez (born December 2, 1946 , Dobromil , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Soviet and Russian theater director, actor, theater figure, people's artist of Russia .

Biography
Mikhail Abramovich Salez was born on December 2 (according to the passport on November 2 [1] ) in 1946 in the Dobromil of the Drogobych region (now Lviv region ) of the Ukrainian SSR. Father, Abram Moiseevich Salez, went through the entire Great Patriotic War. However, a year after the end of the war, when his son was several months old, he was repressed and released only in 1953, after Stalin's death. In 1947, mother and son went to Tashkent with relatives.
He graduated from the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute . At the same time he studied in the studio at the Tashkent Academic Russian Drama Theater. M. Gorky .
Then for about 8 years he was an actor of the Tashkent Russian Drama Theater. He played in the Chisinau Russian Drama Theater. A.P. Chekhov .
He worked in the movie theater at the film studio " Moldova-film ".
In 1976-1992 he worked at the Kirov Drama Theater . At first he was an actor, and since 1986 - the main director and artistic director.
In 1992-1995 he was the artistic director of the Kaliningrad Drama Theater .
In 1996 he moved to Israel , where he created and directed the Cylinder Theater.
In 1999 he returned to Russia. He worked as a director and director of Russian theaters in Izhevsk (one season) and Yoshkar-Ola (4 years), and the Rybinsk Drama Theater (since 2006).
Since 2008, he served as director, actor and director of the Kaliningrad Drama Theater . Currently, the director of the theater.
