Club career
He took his first steps in football at the Atletico Mineiro Academy, but after staying there for a year, he moved to Gremio in 2011. Already at the age of 17, Kareka attracted the attention of the head coach of the “three-color” Luis Felipe Scolari , who transferred him to the first team. Thanks to this, at such an early age, Kareka was able to make his debut for Gremio in Serie A , having spent 29 minutes in a duel against Coritiba (1: 1) [2] . Later in Kareki’s career there were 2 more matches in Serie A for Gremio, and in both his team lost. Without becoming a major player, in 2017 he was leased to Figuirence , and in January 2018 he was leased to Oest , both clubs played in the Brazilian Serie B , where Kareka played 5 and 6 matches, respectively.
On August 1, 2018, he transferred on a rental basis for the season 2018/2019 to Poltava Vorskla [3] . On August 5, he made his debut for a new team in the Premier League match against Lviv , replacing Vladislav Kulach , and in 83 minutes he scored the only and winning goal in the match [4] .
