Content
Biography
After graduating from the Derbent Pedagogical College, he worked as a teacher in his native village. He was born in 1948 in the village of Yargil in the Khiva region. Sh. Shakhmardanov is the first Tabasaran resident who graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute .
Creativity
The first book by Shahveled Shakhmardanov “Charkhachi” was published in 1979 [1] .

Shahveled translated into Tabasaran language the works of such classics as: A. S. Pushkin, V. Mayakovsky, O. Batyrai, Makhmud, S. Stalsky, G. Tsadas, E. Kapiev, A. Gafurov, R. Gamzatov, F. Aliyev , A. Abu-Bakar, Kh. Khametova, I. Huseynov, Magomed-Rasul, M. Akhmedova, Zhamidin, M. Davydov, Rasim Khadzhi, etc.
