Gyusyulu ( azerb. Hüsülü ) is a village in the Gyusyuli administrative-territorial district of the Agjabadi region of Azerbaijan .

Etymology
The name comes from the Gyusyulu clan of the Kyzylbash tribe Ustadzh . Part of the genus mixed with the Shahsevens, part remained the same [1] .
History
The village was founded in the middle of the 19th century by Haji Hasan Gyusyulu. The population moved here from the Meshedi-Alekper-Suat district , 1 km from the current village.
The village of Gyusullu in 1913, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Elizabethpol province, belonged to the Gindarkh rural community of Shusha district [2] .
In 1926, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Azerbaijan SSR, the village belonged to the dagger of Agjabeda of the Agdam district.
After the reform of administrative division and the abolition of counties in 1929, the Gyusyuli village council was formed in the Agjabadi district of the Azerbaijan SSR .
According to the administrative division of 1961 and 1977, the village of Gyusyulu was part of the Gyusyuli village council of the Agjabadi district of the Azerbaijan SSR [3] [4] .
In 1999, an administrative reform was carried out in Azerbaijan and the Gusyuli municipality of the Agjabadi district was established within the Gyusyuli administrative-territorial district [5] .
Geography
Gyusyulu is located in the Karabakh steppe, on the banks of the Upper Karabakh Canal.
The village is 17 km from the district center of Agjabadi and 295 km from Baku . The nearest railway station is Agdam (operating - Khalaj).
The village is located at an altitude of 61 meters above sea level.

In 1886, 265 people lived in the village, all of them were Azerbaijanis, Shiite Muslims by religion.
The population is mainly engaged in cotton, livestock and grain cultivation.

The average annual temperature in the village is +14.4 ° C. The village has a semi-desert climate .
Infrastructure
In Soviet times, a dairy farm and a poultry farm were located near the village [7] , and in the village itself there were a middle and eight-year school, a cultural center, a library, a kindergarten, and a hospital [8] .
The village has a cardboard factory, a post office [11] , a secondary school, a kindergarten, a cultural center, two libraries, a medical center.
