Nikolskoye is a village in the Kamyzyaksky district of the Astrakhan region of Russia . It is part of the Nikolo-Komarovsky village council . The small homeland of the Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Mikhailovich Koshmanov (1923-1945). The population of 24 [3] people (2011), 94% of them are Russians (2002).

Geography
Nikolskoye is located within the Caspian lowland in the southern part of the Astrakhan region, in the Volga River Delta , on an island formed by the rivers Old Volga, Chilimnaya, Bakhtemir , Eriks and is located on the left bank of the Old Volga. The northern outskirts of the village are adjacent to the center of the village council - the village of Moryakov.
The absolute height is 29 meters below sea level [1] .

According to the All-Russian Census in 2010 , the population was 793 people (382 men and 411 women, 48.2 and 51.8 %% respectively) [5] .
According to the 2002 census , Russians accounted for 94% of the total population of 924 inhabitants in the national population structure [7] .
