Roman Strunin ^{[1] [2]} , for the first time applied the bio-impedance analysis technique in the biometric system ^{[3] for} identifying a person’s personality. Since 2009, the author has conducted research related to the creation of a measuring device for identifying a person through the palmar surface of the hands . The “recording device” developed by the author ^[4] has no analogues in the World, based on bio-impedance analysis , is a non-invasive and completely safe measurement method for humans, consisting of a set of electrodes located on a substrate and recording the values ​​of electric skin resistance (EX). The measurement is connected with reference points on the palm surface of a person’s hand with a minimum EX, where the electrodes for data acquisition were properly located, based on the studies conducted by the author.

The developed biometric device - “human bio-impedance identifier” allows identification both independently and in combination with other biometric systems, allowing the determination of living or dead tissue. Based on the results of the study, Roman Strunin concluded that this biotechnological system can also be used to assess the psychoemotional state of a person.

The system can be used to diagnose the condition of patients in medical organizations , persons whose professional activities are associated with the risk of accidents, accidents (air traffic controllers, drivers, drivers), when training special forces personnel to assess the body's reactions to various stress loads that arise in certain combat situations .

In different years, starting in 2012, he lectured at Vladimir State University in the disciplines: “Biotechnical systems and technologies”, “Computer technologies in medicine”, “Biometric systems and technologies”, “Methods for processing biomedical signals and data”.
