Geography
Outpost (Astrakhan region) is located within the Caspian lowland in the southern part of the Astrakhan region, in the Volga river delta and is located on the island formed by the rivers Old Volga, Somovka, Bakhtemir , on the left bank of the Old Volga and Somovka, opposite the right-bank village Samosdelka. The street network consists of one geographical object : st. Zarechnaya.
The absolute height is 26 meters below sea level [1] .

temperate, sharply continental , characterized by high temperatures in summer and low - in winter, low rainfall, as well as large annual and summer daily air temperature amplitudes.

- National and gender composition
According to the All-Russian Census in 2010 , the population was 30 people (17 men and 13 women, 56.7 and 43.3 %%, respectively) [5] .
According to the 2002 census , Chechens accounted for 77% of the total population of 47 inhabitants in the national population structure [7] .
