Nizhnenikolsky is a village in the Kamyzyaksky district of the Astrakhan region of Russia . It is part of the Model Travinsky Village Council (until 2017 - in the Poldnevsky Village Council . The population of 282 [1] people (2010), 54% of them are Kazakhs , 42% are Russian (2002).

History
Nizhnenikolsky was transferred to the Model Travinsky Village Council by the Law of the Astrakhan Region dated September 5, 2017 No. 46/2017-OZ [2] .
Geography
The village is located within the Caspian lowland in the southern part of the Astrakhan region, in the Volga river delta and is located on the island formed by the Poldnevaya (Biryul) and Gandurino rivers, on the left bank of the river. Gandurino. On the right bank is the village of Gandurino, between them, on the outskirts of villages, a ferry operates. From the northern outskirts of the village - a ferry to the village. According to the All-Russian Census in 2010 , the population of the village was 282 people (143 men and 139 women, 50.7 and 49.3 %% respectively) [1] .
According to the 2002 census , in the national structure of the population, Kazakhs made up 54%, Russians - 42% of the total population of 284 residents [4] .
Infrastructure
Russian Post Office 416315 (Komsomolskaya Street, 79). There is a feldsher-midwife station. In the village, the infrastructure is developed for fishing.
Transport
