Geography
Koshevanka is located in the southeastern part of the Astrakhan region, in the Volga River Delta, and is located on an island formed by the Bushma and Kamardan rivers, on the right bank of the Karaikar River. The absolute height is 24 meters below sea level [1] .

According to the 2002 census , in the national structure of the population, Kazakhs accounted for 99% of the total population of 316 residents [4] .
