The postage stamps of the seventh standard series of the USSR (1948-1954) ( TsFA No. 1247-1255) were put into circulation from May 1948 to September 1954.
The seventh standard issue was the first post-war. It appeared in May 1948 and was published until September 1954. The series consisted of stamps of eight denominations . In miniatures, the artist Vasily Zavyalov depicted: a miner (5 kopecks), a sailor (10 kopecks), a pilot (15 kopecks), a collective farmer (20 kopecks), the Coat of arms and flag of the USSR (30 kopecks), a scientist (45 kopecks), the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin (50 kopecks) and infantry soldier (60 kopecks). For the first time, the standard series was printed by gravure printing [1] [2] [3] .
The order of the elements in the table [Comm 1] corresponds to the catalog number of the USSR stamps ( CFA ) [3] [4] [5] , the numbers in the Mikhel catalog [6] are given in parentheses.

Additional Standard Issue The Kremlin (1941–1954)
In September 1948, the series was supplemented with a stamp ( CFA No. 1255) of 1 ruble denomination, the miniature of which “Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin” repeated the pattern of the stamp ( CFA No. 806) of the standard issue “Kremlin” [8] [9] and was offset printed [5] . Four different picture sizes of this miniature are known [1] [2] . The catalog Solovyov marked as an additional standard issue. Among other things, the brand ( CFA No. 1255) was reprinted in a small format (artist V. Zavyalov ) [5] [3] [10] . Unlike the stamps of the 1941 edition, it was printed by intaglio printing (like the stamps of the seventh standard issue), however, it differs in the quality of paper and cotting . In addition, the stamp differs from postage stamps of the eighth standard series , offset printed. The stamp was reprinted in mass circulation in 1953 ( CFA No. 1255B) ( Mi # 1245II) on thick paper and with a reduced drawing size (14.5 × 21.5 mm), as well as in offset printing paper in 1954 (drawing size 14, 25 × 21.0 mm) - ( CFA No. 1255-I) [11] [5] [10] .

Falsifications
In the reference book on the examination of Soviet postage stamps (author - Y. M. Vovin), a description of the main falsifications of the seventh issue of standard stamps of the USSR is not mentioned [12] .
On April 28, 1949, the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin brand ( TsFA No. 1384) was issued in the eighth standard edition (artist - Vasily Zavyalov ), the size of the picture was 15 × 22 mm, offset printing and perforated with a comb comb denting 12: 12½ (for every 2 centimeters the edges of the brand account for 12: 12½ teeth). The miniature repeated the stamp ( CFA No. 1253) of the seventh standard issue of the same color and face value, printed by intaglio printing , perforated with 12½ linear serration [13] .
