Saperton’s musical career received a new impetus in 1924, when he married Vanite Godowsky, the eldest daughter of the outstanding pianist and composer Leopold Godowsky . Saperton mastered a significant part of Godowsky’s compositions and transcriptions and for many years acted as their only performer and propagandist, having recorded two albums with this music (1940 and 1952). He also owns a record of Chopin's studies. In addition, Godowsky recommended Saperton to Joseph Hoffmann , who invited him to teach at the Curtis Institute of Music . Saperton worked here for more than 10 years, among his students - Jorge Bolet , Abby Simon , Sydney Foster , Shura Cherkassky , Elinor Sokoloff and others. In 1938, Saperton was forced to leave the Curtis Institute after his leader Hoffmann and later taught privately.
