“Fly” (another name - Fly) is one of the largest [2] [3] Russian open-air rock music festivals . The largest in terms of the number of spectators musical event in the territory of Udmurtia [4] . According to the TurStat analytical agency, it ranks 10th among the most popular open-air events in Russia [5] [6] [7] .

The festival brings together groups from Udmurtia, Tatarstan , the Perm Territory , Moscow , St. Petersburg and other cities [8] . Spectators live for 3-4 days of the festival in campsites in the open air [9] [10] .
Until 2017, the festival was held on the territory of the sports and tourist center " Nechkino " on the banks of the Kama . Since 2018, due to the increased number of participants, the venue has been moved to an open field of 50 hectares near the village of Lagunovo in the Sarapulsky district of Udmurtia, 45 km from Izhevsk and 17 km from Sarapul [11] [12] .
Since 2017, the festival has been included in the calendar of event tourism compiled by the government of Udmurtia [13] [14] .
The festival received positive reviews from participants who compared the level of organization with the largest rock festivals in Russia [15] [16] .
