Greek Βίοι καὶ γνῶμαι τῶν ἐν φιλοσοφίᾳ εὐδοκιμησάντων ; Latin: Vitae Philosophorum ) is a work of the late ancient philosopher of philosophy Diogenes Laertius , written presumably in the 2nd century . The work contains various information about the philosophers of Ancient Greece, including biographical details, as well as a description of the main provisions of their teachings [1] .
