History

Lil Pump released his debut self-titled album in October 2017 [14] . In January 2018, he announced his second Harverd Dropout project, which was completed in April 2018 [15] [16] . The original plan was to release the album on August 17, 2018, on Garcia’s 18th birthday, but was delayed due to Lil Pump "losing the album." [17] [18]

Following Garcia’s arrest on August 29, 2018, due to driving without a license, Garcia’s team announced the release date for Harverd Dropout on September 14, 2018 . A week later, on September 7, 2018, a joint track was released with American rapper Kanye West “ I Love It ” with comedian Adele Givens. The song was released by Lil Pump management. [19]

On September 14, 2018, the release was also canceled [20] . In October 2018, Pamp released the song “ Multi Millionaire ” with Lil Uzi Vert . [21]

On January 4, 2019, a track with the clip “ Butterfly Doors ” was released. On January 23, 2019, Lil Pump published the album cover on his social media accounts , and also announced the album's release date on February 22. [22]

On January 31, 2019, the track “ Racks on Racks ” was released along with a music video. The day before the release of the album, the single “ Be Like Me ” was released with the participation of Lil Wayne . [23]
