The game focuses on finding food, drinks and other items for a picnic before the arrival of Princess Fiona.

In Russia, the game came out with a translation from Kudos [2] and Paradox [3] .

Content

Short story

Shrek wanted to have a picnic for Princess Fiona, but the things needed for this were gone. Shrek needs to find all these lost things before the arrival of Princess Fiona.

Gameplay

Since the player controls Shrek when collecting items for a picnic, he will have to go through mini-games and challenges to complete a level and get items. In addition, the player can collect throughout the area, some ordinary items to open access to mini-games. Some minigames will contain a time limit, and some will not. Each time a player wins, he will receive items for a picnic [4] [5] .

Criticism

Shrek: Treasure Hunt received negative reviews from critics. GameRankings assigned the game 29%, based on one review [6] .
