He has the nickname "Eagle", which he received from the fans of "Hapoel" (Petah Tikva) for his constant focus on the gates of the enemy, as well as the eagle profile [1] .

Football career

Kakun played mainly for Hapoel Petah Tikva . At a young age, became the team captain ; finished the 1996-97 season as the league's top goalkeeper, scoring 21 goals, and helped his team finish second, after Beitar Jerusalem .

After four more seasons in which he scored a two-digit number of goals, playing for Petah Tikva, he twice reached the mark of 20 goals. Kakun moved abroad, joining Spanish CP Merida ( second division ); however, only four months later he returned to his country and former club.

In April 2000, Kakun reached the 100th goal in his career after winning a 4–2 derby after beating Maccabi Petah Tikva . In the summer of 2003, at the age of 30, he joined the second-level team of FC Hapoel Kfar Saba . He played there two seasons and helped her win the championship in the second year, followed by promotion.

Kakun moved to Hapoel Petah for the third time in 2005. Two years later, he resigned with official results of 156 goals in 379 games.

He returned to active football in October 2010 for Beitar Petah Tikva, and two months later he moved to Hapoel Mahane Yehuda. In 2012, he returned to Betar Petah Tikva.
