Radezh ( Belor. Radzezh ) is a village in the Oltushsky village council of Malorita district of the Brest region of Belarus . Located 20 km from Malorita , 64 km from Brest , 20 km from the railway station Malorita . The population is 485 people (2010).

Content
History
The name of the village comes from the same tract, on the site of which the settlement was founded. For the first time it is mentioned as a village in the Gvoznitsky region of the Polesye parish of the Beresteya eldership of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . In 1566, 30 families lived. The documents of 1578-1579 are referred to as separation from the farm and the village of Dubok. In 1668 as part of Brodetinsky Voytovstvo Polesky key Beresteyskoy economy . In 1682, 26 settled farms, the church worked.
In 1713 the village belonged to the Pans Yakubovsky. In 1789 - 80 yards.
After the third section of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in 1795 as part of the Brest district of the Slonim province of the Russian Empire , from 1797 in the Lithuanian province , from 1801 in the Grodno province . In the second half of the XIX century - the beginning of the XX century - in the Oltush volost .
In the 1860s, it belonged to the Radezh estate, which was owned by landowner Benetskaya. There lived 257 male souls and 244 female, there was a rural community. Together with the villages of Radezh and Galevka, 587 revision souls lived in the estate.
In 1875 he worked Zemsky national school. In 1886, a church, a chapel, a public school (50 students), an inn. In 1900, 70 children studied. In 1905, 51 people lived in the estate of the same name that belonged to the nobleman Yarogin. In the village there was weaving, blacksmithing, collecting medicinal herbs, mushrooms.
Since 1921, as part of the Oltushsky commune of the Brest Poviat Poles Voivodeship of Poland. Since 1924, the underground cell of the Communist Party of Western Belarus has been working in the village.
Since September 1939 as part of the BSSR . From October 12, 1940 - the center of the Radozhsky village council of the Malorita district of the Brest region. Worked steam mill, elementary school.
During World War II from the end of June 1941 to July 20, 1944, it was captured by German troops, who set fire to the village several times, destroying 157 inhabitants. 29 villagers died at the front or went missing. After the war, the village was restored.
Since January 18, 1950 in the collective farm "The right way." Since July 16, 1954 as part of the Oltushsky village council. From 1962 to 1965 in the Brest region . In 1998 - the center of the collective farm "May 1".
