Biography

Born November 13, 1931 in Moscow.

He graduated from the Moscow Higher Technical School (1955), mechanical engineer. In 1955-1958, engineer of OKB Gidropress.

Since 1958 in NIKIET (Research and Design Institute of Power Engineering): engineer, senior engineer, group leader, deputy. Head of Department, Deputy director of the institute and at the same time head of the department of strength, materials science and corrosion (1978-1997), director of the department (1997-1999), director of research and development of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Research and Design Institute of Energy Engineering named after N. A. Dollezhal” (1999-2007).

Scientific interests: processes leading to the destruction of fuel rods and fuel rod assemblies (boundaries of safe operation).

Doctor of Technical Sciences. The author of 13 inventions.

Laureate of the USSR State Prize. He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor .

Family: wife, two children.
