Content
Geography
The village is located in the northwestern part of the region, on the left bank of the Tom River, near the confluence of the Tala River, at a distance of about 2 kilometers (in a straight line) north of the district center of the city of Yurga . The absolute height is 109 meters above sea level [2] .

History
It was founded in 1426 [4] . In the 1868 List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire, the settlement is mentioned as the factory village of Tutalskaya ( Tala ) of the Tomsk District (2nd section) by the Tom River and the Tale River, located 85 miles from the district center of Tomsk . The village had 42 yards and 228 people (104 men and 124 women). There was a post station and volost board [5] . In 1911, in the village of Tutalsky , which was the center of the Tutalsky volost of the Tomsk district , there were 122 yards and 713 people lived (351 men and 362 women). There were a church, a post office, a rural school, three manufactory shops, two water mills, a forge, a state-owned wine shop and an agricultural warehouse [6] .
According to the data of 1926, there were 167 households and 820 people lived (mostly Russians). Administratively, the village was the center of the Tutal village council of the Yurginsky district of the Tomsk district of the Siberian region [4] .

According to the 2010 All-Russian Population Census, men accounted for 47.6% of the gender structure of the population, and 52.4% of women, respectively.

According to the 2002 census , Russians accounted for 93% of 1213 people in the national structure of the population. [7]
