The length of the narrow body of adult insects (adults) is 4.3-5.6 mm. They differ in the tips of the elytra with a sutural rim, acting in the form of a short spine, one-color greenish color, large eyes. Close to the species Agrilus foramenifer . Prothorax with collar. Lateral margin of pronotum whole, smooth. The eyes are large, almost in contact with the pronotum. Larvae supposedly develop on various deciduous trees . Met from May to June. The species was first described in an audit conducted in 2011 by Canadian coleopterologists Edward Jendek and Vasily Grebennikov ( Ottawa , Canada ) [1] .
