The village is located on the right bank of Lomovka , 4 km east of the outskirts of Nizhny Lomov and 85 km northwest of Penza . The village of Ovcharnoe almost adjoins the village from the south.
Ovcharnoye ( M5 ) - Golitsyno highway runs along the southern outskirts of the village.
