Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of Lebanon, near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea , east of the city of Sur , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 19 meters above sea level [1] .
Climate
The climate is characterized as Mediterranean, with hot summers ( Csa in the Köppen climate classification ). The average annual temperature is 20.2 ° C. The average temperature of the coldest month (February) is 13.7 ° С, the hottest month (August) is 26.4 ° С. The estimated long-term rainfall is 697 mm. The greatest amount of precipitation falls from October to April [2] .

The nearest airport is in the Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona [1] .
