History
The company was founded in 1923 as a colorful factory for the production of meerk. It was originally a subsidiary of the South Ore Trust.
In 1931-1936, new production facilities were built. In 1936 it received its modern name.
In 1964, the Khimprom plant, which produced paints and varnishes, became part of the enterprise. From that moment, two workshops began to operate at the plant - for the production of earth pigments and paint and varnish products.
In 1966, a new paint and varnish workshop was built in the Smychka area, in which the production of enamel, primers, and grated paints began. By 1981, annual paint production reached 26 thousand tons.
In 1972, a new earthen pigment workshop was built in the Dolgintsevsky district of Krivoy Rog, which began the production of ferruginous meerk .
In 1981, an installation with a closed ventilation cycle with a design capacity of 50 thousand tons was put into operation, the actual production amounted to 40-45 thousand tons.
The plant was the only enterprise in the USSR for the production of dry meerk. Products were delivered to more than 500 cities of the USSR and 17 countries of the world.
