History

In 1990, due to the negative environmental impact of the activities of the Astrakhan gas complex, Decree of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR of 08.17.1990 No. 309 Lanchug was included in the list of settlements located in the 8-km sanitary protection zone of the Astrakhan gas complex, in the territory of which the coefficient for work in desert and waterless areas in the amount of 1.35 to the wages of workers and employees [3] .

Geography

the village is located in the Volga River Delta , in the Volga-Akhtuba floodplain [4] . Street consists of a network of one geographical object : st. Embankment

The absolute height is 25 meters below sea ​​level [5] .
