Geography
The village is located in southwestern Lebanon, off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea , approximately 13 kilometers southwest (SSW) from the city of Sur , the district’s administrative center. The absolute height is 34 meters above sea level [1] .
Climate
The climate is characterized as Mediterranean, with hot summers ( Csa in the Köppen climate classification ).
Transport
The nearest airport is in the Israeli city of Haifa [1] .
