The length of the narrow body of adult insects (adults) is 3.5-5.0 mm. Differ in weak lateral impressions on pronotum ; pronotal disc with fine sculpture. Prothorax with collar. Lateral margin of pronotum whole, smooth. The eyes are large, almost in contact with the pronotum. Larvae supposedly develop on various deciduous trees . They are found from May to July at altitudes from 550 to 1400 m. Valid status was confirmed during an audit conducted in 2011 by Canadian coleopterologists Edward Jendek and Vasily Grebennikov ( Ottawa , Canada ) [1] .
