History
Until 2004, only commemorative coins with a face value of two baht were minted. In 2004-2007, coins were minted from steel with a nickel plating [1] . In 2008-2017, coins were made of aluminum bronze with a different portrait of Rama IX [2] . Since 2018, coins from aluminum bronze with a portrait of Rama X have been minted [3] .
