Pallantides ( Greek: Παλλαντίδαι ) - characters of ancient Greek mythology [1] . 50 sons of Pallant , cousins of Theseus . There is no list of names in the sources. They challenged the power of Aegeus , considering him the adopted son of Pandion [2] . Despised Aegeus for childlessness [3] . Androgeus , being in Attica, made friends with the sons of Pallant, and Aegeus ordered to kill him [4] .
In the struggle with Theseus were defeated and killed [2] [5] . After the killing of the Pallantides Theseus and Fedra received purification in Tresen [6] .
