Mera (Myra, Dr. Greek Μαῖρα ) is a character in ancient Greek mythology . Dog of Erigon , a girl from Attica. Finding the murdered Ikaria , howled, grabbed Erigon's teeth by the edge of the clothes and led to the body [1] . When Erigona hanged herself, the dog rushed into the Anigr well [2] (either Onigr well “Dog Spring” [3] ), or died of longing [4] .
Dionysus placed everyone among the constellations. The dog turned into Sirius [5] or Procyon [2] .
