Biography

Born into a Hungarian family in the Romanian city of Odorheiu-Sequesc . As a football player, he never played in the major leagues. At an early age, Laszlo moved to Germany, where he played for a number of amateur and semi-amateur teams. He completed his playing career at the age of 27 in Hungary.

Having finished playing, Laszlo entered the coaching courses in Germany. At first, he worked there with little-known collectives. [1] In 2004, the specialist headed the Hungarian Ferencvaros . Under his leadership, the team performed well in the UEFA Cup and Laszlo himself was recognized as the best football coach of the year in the country. However, in 2005, due to financial problems, he was forced to leave the Ferencvaros. In parallel, Chaba Laszlo entered was an assistant to the German Lothar Matteus in the national team of Hungary .

Later, the mentor, with varying degrees of success, worked with the Uganda team , the Scottish Harts and the Belgian Charleroi . In January 2012, the Hungarian was appointed to the post of head coach of the Lithuanian national team . [2] However, in September of the following year, the local football federation decided to terminate cooperation with the specialist. [3]

Later, the coach worked with teams from Hungary, Slovakia and Scotland.
