Biography
In 1897, after graduating from the Alexander Cadet Corps, he entered the service. In 1899, after graduating from the Alexander Military School, he was promoted to lieutenant and released into the Samogit 7th Grenadier Regiment . In 1903 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1906 to captain , in 1914 to captain.
Since 1914, a participant in the First World War . In 1915 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel , the battalion commander, was wounded. On May 5, 1915, for his bravery, he was awarded the St. George Weapon :
