Content

History

On November 20, 2004 , the monorail line began to operate in the “excursion mode” and transported the first passengers (earlier the launch of the route was planned for 2003 ). There were 2 trains operating on the line, the traffic interval was 30 minutes, the operating time was from 10:00 to 16:00, landing was carried out only at the station "Sergei Eisenstein Street" , exit at any station. The monorail line is officially called "experimental."

From January 10, 2008 to January 22, 2017 , the Moscow monorail worked in urban public transport mode, the station was open for passengers to enter and exit from 6:50 to 23:00.

From January 23, 2017 , with the return of the tour mode, the station is open for passengers from 7:50 to 20:00.

Lobbies and Transplants

It is located halfway between the VDNKh metro station of the Kaluga-Riga metro line (change is free, the metro station is 280 meters away) and the main entrance of the VDNKh . Here the escalator slope leading to the distribution lobby is located not at the side, but at the end of the station. Boarding the tram number 11, 17, 25 and access to the VDNH bus station - boarding buses traveling to the cities of the Moscow Region along the Yaroslavl Highway . It is also possible to transfer to the Rostokino station of the Moscow Central Ring (located 3 km from the monorail station) and to the MCC Botanical Garden station.
