Originally built in the 11th century in the Romanesque style, the basilica (founded in 987) was renovated in the Gothic style in the 15th century, which is still visually reminiscent of its altar part ( choir ) with elongated stained-glass windows. In the XVIII century, according to the prevailing fashion, the interior of the church was baroque and a bell tower was built on the entrance. In 1867 - in the wake of "returning to the roots" - the collegiate church of Baden-Baden got its modern "regotized" look.
