The village is located within the western ilmenno-tuberous plain , which is part of the Caspian lowland .

According to the All-Russian Census , in 2010 the population of the village was 53 people (29 men and 24 women, 54.7 and 45.3 %% respectively) [3]
According to the 2002 census , in the national structure of the population, Kazakhs made up 57%, Chechens 43% of the total number of 35 people [4]
