The constitution of the federal state of Baden is a constitution adopted on May 18, 1947 , which extended its jurisdiction to the territory of the state of Baden . November 19, 1953 the constitution was repealed.
The Land of Baden April 25, 1952 became part of the state of Baden-Württemberg .
The constitution had five sections: basic rights, duties and public life, government, protection of the Constitution and final provisions.
The draft constitution was approved on April 21, 1947 at the 16th meeting of the Consultative Assembly of Baden by 40 votes to twelve [1] . Then, on April 25, he was approved by the French military government. The constitution of the state of Baden was presented to the population at the same time as the May 18 parliamentary elections [2] .
The Constitution entered into force on May 19, 1947. It expired on November 19, 1953.
