The body length of adult insects (adults) is from 13 to 15 mm. They are distinguished by a bluish-greenish reflection of the dorsal side, pronotum elongated in front. The body is narrow, the main color on the dorsal side is dark. Prothorax with collar. Lateral margin of pronotum whole, smooth. The eyes are large, almost in contact with the pronotum. Larvae develop on various deciduous trees . Meet in July. The valid status was confirmed during an audit conducted in 2011 by Canadian coleopterologists Edward Jendek and Vasily Grebennikov ( Ottawa , Canada ) [1] .
