Richard Kearney (1954) - Irish philosopher, representative of hermeneutics, professor of philosophy at Boston College . Born in Cork (Ireland). Educated at McGill University (Canada). He defended his thesis at Nanterre under the direction of Paul Ricoeur . He is the author of Strangers, Gods and Monsters (2003), Anatheism: Returning to God after God (2011) and Dialogues about Europe. He calls his concept "diacritical hermeneutics"
