The parliamentary elections in France of 1893 were the 6th parliamentary elections of the Third Republic and were held on August 20 (first round) and September 3 (second round). The elections were held immediately after the scandalous anti-corruption disclosures associated with the construction of the Panama Canal . As a result, half of the deputies were completely updated. The left got the vast majority: 488 out of 581 places.
