The body length of adult insects (adults) is 4.9-5.5 mm. Differ in whitish pubescence and deep impression on the vertex. Pronotum with the largest width in the apical third. The body is narrow, the main color on the dorsal side is dark bronze with a greenish glow. Prothorax with collar. Lateral margin of pronotum whole, smooth. The eyes are large, almost in contact with the pronotum. Larvae develop on various deciduous trees . They are found in July at altitudes from 1000 to 1800 m. Valid status was confirmed during an audit conducted in 2011 by Canadian coleopterologists Edward Jendek and Vasily Grebennikov ( Ottawa , Canada ) [1] .
